Windows 7 on Snow Leopard
I have just installed Windows 7 RC on my old white MacBook using boot camp after recently upgrading to Snow Leopard.
After the installer rebooted my machine into Windows 7, I immediately installed the boot camp drivers from my Snow Leopard disc. I continued using Windows 7 for the rest of the day and rebooted when I got home.
I was greeted with the Windows 7 startup repair utility instead of the Windows desktop.
Now whenever I try to boot up into Windows, it tries to start up normally for a bit, but then flashes to a blue screen and loads the startup repair utility which is useless.
Interestingly, I also have a faster machine which had been running Windows 7 through parallels before the upgrade to Snow Leopard. Now upgraded to Snow Leopard, the virtual machine got the same problem, but parallels restarted it a few times until it booted normally. Now I have no problems with the virtual machine.
Is there any thing that I can do to the boot camp partition to make it boot up normally? Maybe something that parallels did?
