This has gone through my mind for quite a while now. But now that newer games are coming out, the processor requirements on games are getting higher than what some of the older macs can handle.
For example, my iMac's processor is only 1.83, and if i get bootcamp, i wouldnt get to play half of the games that are coming out because of how low my processor is. but what i want to know is basically...if you own a newer/"mid-new" mac, is that the only way you can play the newer released games?
btw my iMac was the first line of macs that had the intel chips(around aug 2006)
