So I've been enjoying my new 24" iMac 3.06 GT 130

Last two times I've gone into bootcamp and then used the Windows bootamp assistant to "reboot in OSX" I've gotten a black screen. I've had to force the machine down, and this last time I even attempted to reset the pram just to get the machine back up.

Anyone else experienced this?

How long did you wait before you forced a shutdown to reboot it? I've noticed on the MacBook/MacBook Pro that there is a longer delay (w/ the black screen) before it actually boots OS X than if you were to just cold boot it. I think you just need to leave it alone for it to boot.

At a minimum 2 minutes, I suppose I could wait longer, but I don't think that's it, you should at least see the gray screen before then. I'm guessing it's something to do with the bootcamp graphics driver leaving the card in a weird state, next time I'll just try Shutdown -> restart and holding down option to see if it's any different.

This last time I even went as far as disconnection every peripheral as well.
