Bootloop crash

I'am having this problem and I've seen a few other post suggesting the same problem, so I thought I'd be wise to make a separate thread for this.

The problem is that sometimes my iPad Air gets stuck in a boot-crash loop. It will first boot, then show the lock screen, unlock, crash and reboot. This is pretty problematic and take hours before it stops, but what makes it even worse is that during this process, the device uses more battery than it can charge, meaning that the battery (slowly) drains, even if it is connected to the charger. It becomes even more problematic once the battery is empty. Now it shows the low battery sign, until it thinks that it has enough battery to boot and boots, but the boot takes to much time and battery and it cuts of even before the boot is complete. The only way out of this is to put it in DFU-mode and restore it.

Now I know this is a beta 1 and that these are very buggy. I have frequently used betas since iOS 6 and I know the drawbacks from that, I remember that the first beta of iOS 8 would crash its apps all the time and respring, but nothing nearly as bad as this. This is a very serieus problem and makes the device completely unusable.

The battery drain on iOS 11 beta 1 is really bad. It is a beta after all, it's a tradeoff for being able to experience new features before everyone else.

My mini 2 just started getting this. I had connected it to power. Afterwards, it didn't respond, so I initiated a reboot by holding power and lock for five seconds. Boots, gets to lock screen, hangs. Eventually boots again.

My iPhone 6 kept turning off and on, started doing it right after iOS 11 installation was done.
So, I turned it off quickly after it turned on, before it turns off automatically.
I turned it on after 10 minutes of charging, and the problem is gone.
I now use my phone with 1% battery while charging and everything is fine - never happened again after that “fix” - suggest you try that.

Well, shutting it down was not possible, since it would crash before the 'slide to shut down' even came up. Also, once the battery was depleted it wouldn't even get to any screen at all, since it would shut down before the boot was even complete.
Anyway, I had to restore my iPad via DFU-mode and am now back at 10.3.3

Oddly, unplugging the Lightning cable appeared to help in my case. It stopped rebooting, and I could connect the cable again.

I've had this issue as well. When I plug in the device, there's that charging chime but a loot at the status bar confirms otherwise. So I've had to unplug and replug it several times until the status bar showed the charging battery. And that's stopped the issue.

Maybe iOS 11 has stricter safeguards on the charging cables used, mine's a belkin FWIW.
