BootNeuter Icon on Home Screen - Can I delete it?

Hey guys.
I just upgraded my aunt's iphone from 1.1.4 --> 3.0.1
After the process the "BootNeuter" Icon has appeared on her Home Screen.
I have done this process before on my phone and my moms phone and the "BootNeuter" icon never appeared on our phones before...

anyways, can I just delete this icon? ie. delete it without having any problems with my phone.. i don't even know what a bootneuter is..
So can I just delete it?

I know I can use Poof, but i'd rather delete it if I can then to use poof.
