Ok, this is an upgraded quicksilver733, to Other world computings mercury 1.4 G4, what a pain:eek:
Anywhoo no matter which drive I boot from o r OS It boots the logo, then says starting os X then goes to a blue screen, any ideas? thanks

This always happens with the G5's we have at school. Boot into Open Firmware mode - CMD+OPT+O+F I think is what it is. Then type in
reset-nvram
reset-all

it'll reboot and there ya go.

It is: +OPTION+O+F

try starting up holding the SHIFT key. It will load in a 'safe mode' sort of way. Then reboot back to normal.
