Anyone have any thoughts? Bose are $350 vs. Sennheiser at $500, $400 from amazon. I'm looking for noise cancelling and bluetooth. Wondering if the Sennheiser speakers are that much better than bose for with the same features? I know audiophiles will decry bose, but honestly they a more familiar company to me than sennheiser and therefore more reputable. What do you guys think?

Sennheiser is just as reputable, but maybe not as mainstream.

Consulting Marco Arment's Mega-Review is the first place I would look:

Personally, I'd go with the Bowers & Wilkins P5 Wirless Headphones: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y0Q9LFU/

The cesspit of civilization
Sennheiser tends to produce much better sound than Bose (some models, they also have cheap not-so-good headphones), but Bose kills on the noise cancelling.

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD598 and when used in conjunction with a decent DAC/amplifier, they are heaven to my ears. They are not portable though, and are open, therefore suck at noise isolation. I'm tempted to get a pair of QC35 for the BT and noise cancelling.

This would be a completely unnecessary buy since some months ago I was gifted a pair of BT headphones with noise cancelling, however I am indeed tempted.
