Boss Prefs on AppStore? For iphone 3g

Hey y'all!
I've a question...
But on the new iPhone 2.0 (3G) there's in the App Store the Boss Prefs program to disable edge?? (the 3g function could be disabled in the iphone menu), so you haven't to pay too much.
And.. can I add a source in the AppStore?

I don't think so because apple won't allow applications to work with the file system and to work on background and i guess bossprefs works in the background

I don't think you can add sources (it's no installer )

I don't know in witch country are you but here in mexico they charge for MB so it dosen't mare if it's trough EDGE or 3G

Thanks.. ... I saw on the Apple web site that you can disable the 3G function but the iphone 3G provides the edge too?
