So my boss was cropping something in Powerpoint and then she turns to me and says "This is how we used to do it back before we had any programs!"

I think I lost the will to live.

Me neither... to her credit she did elaborate by mentioning design software. But it only made it worse.

isn't she basically saying that she used to have to use Powerpoint for cropping photos before there were programs.


problem being: powerpoint is a program/app. and there were design apps around when powerpoint was first released, not to mention certainly other alternatives. just a clueless statement.
