Hi,

I see that my 2017 iMac Pro is very slow at booting.

I have tried to check system.log but couldn't find anything unusual. Is there a way to see what delays the boot time? This happens after i push to boot button till login screen. It's takes like a minute. My friend have the same iMac and his takes only a few seconds to boot.

Also it looks like everything is working slower after i have updated to BigSur. For example i am using Adobe Premiere and Screen Cast. But they are at least 2x slower.

Here is my configuration.

I can't say I'd be able to figure it out this way but you could try booting in verbose mode to see if you notice anything hanging.

It wouldn't seem to be a User Account issue as you're describing what happens before an account is even loaded.

You could also run Diagnostics.
