Hi all,

I bought 2 AirPods Maxs recently (for me and my spouse).
However,I started to notice that my AirPods Max feels a bit loose, specially when I wear it and walk around.Another thing I noticed is that my AirPods Max's (blue one) ear cups doesn't touch at the bottom, while the other one (pink one) does (Please see the photo below).
Does it seems like a defect? Or is it normal? Should I talk to Apple about this?

Okay, just wanted to make sure they weren't potentially counterfeit - it's surprisingly common. I would take the blue one back, that does appear to be a defect.

Thanks for your input. I booked an appointment with the Apple Store.

My wife and I have a pair of these as well. From the YouTube videos that I watched, it said that the top portion of the headset was slightly bendable. Initially when I got my pair, they were so tight they were painful to use. So I ended up opening the top portion by bending it outward to make the headset not so tight. Worked perfectly.

Seems normal to me? Just needs some adjustment.
