Hello,

I bought a mini for file sharing and media sharing with plex. While plex is working flawlessly, I can't access any of my folders from my MBP. I can see the mini name on the left pane of Finder, but when I clic on it sais Connecting... then Connection Failed

Any idea? I read somewhere to delete the default sharing folder, which I did, but it still doesnt work

Enable file sharing on the mini in System Preferences under Sharing. Click Options and make sure AFP is ticked. Under user access add a user with full r/w access, such as Administrator. You can add specific folders so that they appear at the root of the device from another computer but it isn't absolutely necessary.

On the MacBook Pro, go into Finder and select the Mac mini in the Sidebar and then click on 'Connect As...' and enter the login information for the user you created/used in Sharing on the mini. If you used Administrator then then enter the admin login details for the Mac mini and it should work.

If not then come back here but try and be a bit more specific if you can.
