The title basically covers it.

Bought for 4 year old daughter's birthday a 10th gen iPad, I have apple one with the 2tb iCloud plan. I share it with my wife currently.

So I set up a child account, she's in my family, but on her new iPad it says she has only 5gb free storage? When I go into my apple account she's in my family for some things, but not in my family for other things, such as iCloud+

What's going on? Have I missed a setting somewhere?

How many GBs does a 4 year old need? 👶
You'd be surprised. She loves children's YouTubers and likes to pretend that she's one of them and does videos of herself playing.

Obviously we don't upload the footage, but she loves watching it back and pretending she's just like the TV kids ❤️

...or, on your daughters device, go to Settings>Apple ID>iCloud>Manage Storage>Family Usage

She may have family sharing turned off for cloud storage.

Anyway, hope you get it fixed. 👍

It is a sign that a 4 year old should not have an iPad at her disposal.
