I purchased my son a new ipad 9th generation 256gb to replace his 6th gen 128gb. Will the case from his old model fit the new one?

I believe not. IIRC the 6th gen was the last 9.7“, and the 9th gen is 10.2“. Best to check the apple website to be sure.

When I posted, I did not have both side by side as the 9th gen was still in the box. Its much bigger. Thanks for the quick reply.
