iPod Bought nano in the us but live in eu

I live in EU but I just bought myself an iPod nano 5th gen in the US because I don't like the EU volume limit but I was wondering, if I register and update my nano in my country will it get the EU volume limit? and if so what can I do to prevent that from happening?

You can use GoPod (http://www.gopod.eu/) to remove the limit.

Before I bought this nano I did buy another one in my country and I tried to use gopod to uncap it but that didn't work so I returned it and decided to just buy one in the us so I wouldn't have the limit to begin with
