OK folks i just purchased a new Macbook. My old computer was a Powerbook and i used to have .Mac and the program Backup. I used Backup to save the info off of my Powerbook but i cant restore the info because i no longer have .Mac. Is there any way i can get the info onto my new computer?

Not sure because ive never used it but when you install os x don't you get the option to move settings across via a firewire cable.

Think its called Migration Assistant

Isnt it an app in the utilities folder? Have a look in there im sure there is something for this.

Also i hope you backed up your info before cancelling .mac? If not its gone!
