bought used Imac how do i change the computer name to my name

i do have administrative(user) rights and password but cant figure out how to change the computers name from previous owner

Under system preferences, go to sharing. There you should be able to change the name!

Go into System Preferences and choose sharing. It should now be fairly obvious where to rename the computer.
