Bowden, Sheffield Minimalist iPad Cases

It's a kickstarter but was unique enough I thought it might be of interest. (disclosure, yes I'm a backer).

seems to offer the best of both worlds since I was originally looking at the Portenzo, dodo, etc...type cases.

I really like these, but I'm also biased.

They look cool but you can't use the ipad while in the case itself.

that's the point. when you're actually using the ipad, you can enjoy it's form factor and the case becomes pretty much like a stand.

but you're right though, it's a little more effort to use compared to a fold out.

I agree they seem cool if you want to use the ipad out of a case. I keep mine in a case to use on public transportation and other places where removing the ipad is not convenient nor, to my mind, prudent. I hope the project is successful.
