Boxee/XBMC/nitoTV Network Path

I really hate to ask this question, but i'm stumped.

I can't figure out how to get my iTunes library to work with Boxee/XBMC.

I have an iMac with a 1TB FW800 External HD connected. ATV works great and I love it. I would like to use XBMC, Boxee, nitoTV etc. I can't seem to figure out what the url or IP address or path is to get all those features to work?

Can someone give me a few pointers on how to connect these features? Do I need an internal url or IP address for my external HD? How do I determine what that may be?

I avoided using iTunes and just set-up a shared folder on my computer. nitoTV sees the folder but I cannot login and connect. You could give that a try, hopefully you will have more success than I did.

nitoTV also sees mine but when I log in nothing occures it just returns to the previous screen as tho nothing happened. I would like to get XBMC and Boxee to see my shared drive tho.

The next step is to figure out how to navigate the menus? It's soo clunky, I guess I expected something a little better when going through the menus to make selections.
