Braided charging cable?

Hey all,

I have a cat who loves to chew Apple cables (expensive tastes). I usually just use braided cables instead, he doesnt bother these. But it looks like the cheapest AW charging cable is $32 bucks. Anyone have experience with these or another alternative?
