Has anyone been able to get a hold of any of the new braided Loop watch bands separately? It doesn't appear that any of the stores around me in New York have availability. Was curious is there stock of any in the US or if they haven't arrived yet to stores? Shipping dates for it are out till November!

Same here, online showing none, but I went to my store, and they had some, was in another mall the next day and checked the Apple store there, and they had some as well, even though online it also showed none there.

You're probably out of luck if you're looking for stock in the NYC area. Stores certainly are doing their best to strongly discourage in-store visits, with appointments needed to shop and their online system showing zero stock pretty much intentionally.

I was in the WTC store this morning, and it was made clear I would not be able to try on any bands for sizing/fit. I was given a disposable measuring strip (a laminated version of the one you can print out), and had to measure myself. The whole point of going was to figure out whether 7 was really the right fit. They would not even come across the table to help measure.

I asked if they had any stock in a size 7, and was told no, and was ushered to the exit empty handed.

Guess it's November for me.

I got the pink one in the store and now I am looking for the green and blue ones. I went to 3 of my local stores today and they said they did not have any braided bands in stock. I am going to try again tomorrow.

My printer is out of ink and I couldn't print the strip. So my friend printed it and I told him that I wear my 44mm band using the m/l part on the 2nd to the tightest hole. He said that he thought I would be an 8 or 9. I figured I would order each color in a different size to see what size fits the best. So I ordered the charcoal -7, blue - 8, pink- 9, and green in 10. The 7 fit the best. I ended up returning the other 3 since they were too big.

You can do it without printing it. Use some string or a tape measure to measure your arm. Then input that into Apple's sizing guide.

Edit - I see you found the right size. Reading fail on my part.

This is very weird. I was able to just walk in and try on bands in two visits to the Upper East Side Apple Store, as well as a visit to the Grand Central Apple Store and the 14th Street Apple Store. All of them brought out bands for me to try on. A guy working at 14th St seemed a little annoyed that Apple isn't doing more to encourage availability online and discourage people from visiting the store, but I don't think he blamed me after I told him the braided loops were only available online in November. I was able to pick up all four currently released braided loops in these NYC stores over the past few days without waiting more than 5 minutes at any one store. Not sure if I just got really lucky or you just ran into some bad luck at WTC.

I think it depends on the time you go, at least that’s what I noticed here (big metro area but not NYC). I went to a busy store on a Monday evening and it was quiet, waited in line for 5-10 minutes and got assigned a specialist who was really helpful and let me buy what I want. I went back on the weekend and they wouldn’t talk to you if you didn’t have an appointment, just point to a QR code to book an appointment even though I knew exactly what I wanted.
