I have the 44mm Series 6 and the 44mm Braided Loop connector is about 1mm short on each side, leaving a gap. Anyone else experiencing this? Seems odd to make it shorter than the length of the watch lugs where all other straps fit flush.

Pics?

Here’s a photo that shows the gap. Same on the other side.

Plus you can see the metal connector peeking out from inside the band connector slot. The product really feels uncharacteristically unfinished for an Apple product.

I have the 40mm and the edges are fine, but I also noticed the metal connector peeking out. It's definitely not up to usual Apple specs. But otherwise, I do love the band.

Apparently you can't leave a review anymore on Apple site. I'm wondering how else to otherwise report this.

I have appointments for battery issues on iPad and MBP so I added a specialist shopping appointment to the set so I can check it out.

At our store, there are lines to get in and appointments trump anything else.

I'll also return a watch that's coming tomorrow. I ordered a S6 with a band I wasn't sure I'd use just because it would come sooner, then found there were more options ready for pick up in the store so I picked one up Saturday. I think they are to the point that they should probably just sell the watch without a band or otherwise be creative: ship them separately? Include the sport band $ amount as a voucher? That experience could be improved.

Have a similar gap with mine, 44mm S6, with a Charcoal Braided loop; it's not ideal, but I like the band, so I think I will live with it since it seems like they all have the same issue.

There is another issue which is that there is a gap which allows you to see the stainless steel lugs. Looks terrible on a black watch with a black band.

Given this band is $100 that is not acceptable. The Leather loop is a flawless band by comparison. That is the other issue, it doesn't seem right that the braided loop costs more than the leather loop or leather link.

I might consider it if it was perfect, but not with these flaws.

I was considering this braided band because it looked unique, new and fresh. But the price was a bit steep in my opinion for what it is. But looking at these quality issues, it's totally not worth it. Even €50 would be too much at this point.
