Ok, so I my apple watch 6 came with a size 7 silicone solo loop that fitted ok, could be a mm shorter.
Anyhow, back in October I ordered a size 6 braided solo loop and have been using it since.
In the beginning it was snug an leaved marks on the skin, but it started to stretch quickly.
Now it's way too loose, with a flick of my wrist I can rotate the watch on my wrist.
It measures 15.7mm compared to the size 7 which is 15.2. I have 17cm wrists and apple suggests
choosing between size 7 or 8 😄. I believe size 5 is correct.
Do you guys think size 5 would be the way to go?, or would that be too tight?

I am no expert in braided loops, but I have seen that everyone's got lose over time. Once washed and dried, they reported that it went back to its original size.

Got the size 5 today. Here it is compared to my size 6.
A bit tight of course, but I think it will stretch out to be a better fit than the size 6.

In my humble opinion I think size 5 would be way too tight. I’m in a very similar position. Ordered 6, when itbwas brand new, it left slight marks of the weaving on my wrist at the end of the day. But it has broken in since. I’ve been using it almost daily since January. Although it did stretch, it was only a very small, tiny ammount. My watch doesn’t move or slide up and down. Have you tried washing it? I saw a video where a Braided loop recovered its original sizr after being washed and put in the drier

I can confirm that washing it will tight it little bit. I have size 6 product RED and I washing it normally with soap in my hands.
