I am looking for a braided solo loop band that measures 14.0 ~ .2 cm for AW 40mm. What size to take 4, 5 or 6?

thanks

I measured 16.5cm, the apple measurement tape gave me a 7. I went initially for a 6 with sololoop, it fit alright, but after some use it just felt too snug/tight, ordered a 7 and it fits much better (even after a months use).

I then tried a braided loop size 6, and it was too damn tight, exchanged it for a 7, and it fits much better. Though I did return it as, imo, it feels cheap and crap.

so, I recommend to follow apples measurement tape. period.

I’m really curious if some of the stretching incidents are because people are ordering too small, which leads to more stress on the band. I am trying a 4 and 5 braided solo loop right now. After a week of use, the 4 is identical to the 5. I’m not sure if the 5 will do the same or if the 4 needed to just be the size of the 5.

I’m giving the 5 a few days before I decide on which to keep. I think it may just be that you have to decide if you want it tighter or looser. Perfect just is not going to happen.

My wrist measures about the same and the Apple measuring tool placed me between a 6 and a 7. I purchased the braided version in 6 and it felt a bit too tight but after a month or so it has stretched just about to feel it very comfortable. Later I ordered the Solo Loop in 7. I'm just wearing it for the first time but it feels fenomenal. I'll get back to you in a month or so to see if it has stretched or not.

Well? Did the 7 stretch too?

So strange...I'm also 16.5 cm (6.5"), and the size 5 in both the Solo and Braided Solo fit me perfectly. I first tried a size 6, and the watch literally slid over to the underside of my wrist.
