I changed from a 44mm SE to a 42mm Series 10
Does anyone know if the difference in material and texture is due to the different sizes or are they being made differently?

Here's the new 42mm Midnight on the left, older 44mm Charcoal from 2021 on the right:

I think they’ve been tweaking them over time. I know my Atlantic Blue, which was one of the first colors, has a very different look and feel with material than the Abyss Blue and Bright Green that I got later on. The weave seems to have gotten tighter. Sadly, all have stretched almost equally over time to where I don’t like wearing them.

I’ve basically written off the band now, though I love it at first. Just don’t want a $100 band to become unwearable for me in a year or less. That’s just my experience.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences!
My new band feels so "rough" and almost hard compared to my older ones.. and thinner.
I loved the braided loops very much, so comfortable and easy to wear..
But you are right - 100€ for a band that stretches so easily is far too much.
And now new ones have this new feel that I don't like.. time to look out for alternatives!
