hi


am looking too get a brand new Apple iPad Air 2 or brand new ipad 9.7" pro i had the ipad 2017 model but the sound on the ipad 2017 model was crap i do not want the ipad 10.5 model i like the 9.7" size ipads

how the sound on the ipad air 2 vs ipad pro 9.7"
 
Sound was one area that was improved from Air 2 (2 speakers) to Pro 9.7 (4 speakers). There should be YouTube comparison videos comparing sound between the two.
 
I had a 9.7" iPad Pro, it has great sound, yes it has 4 speakers, adjusts depending on orientation. It also has a better screen than either your old iPad or the Air 2.

If you hadn't already ordered it I would have recommended going with Apple Certified Refurbished to save a few bucks, it still has new warranty and you can add AppleCare if you want, and it ships fast & free: "We test and certify all Apple refurbished products and include a 1-year warranty. Apple's note on iPad Pro 9.7 speakers:

I know you already purchased the 9.7 Pro, but the quad speakers are a huge difference over the iPad Air two speakers. This sound is much more crisp, balanced and increasingly louder as well.

They're the same thickness... Granted, I do believe the Pro 9.7 didn't vibrate as much? Not sure since I typically use earphones/IEMs.

Sound is one thing that is subjective. It would be best advised that you try the 9.7in Pro in person and gauge for yourself. :)
 
Still using my 9.7 Pro, it’s a fantastic device that’s been holding up incredibly well. It’s gonna be a tough sell to get me to upgrade this fall. Hope you enjoy yours!
 
and i like the 9.7pro size i wish apple would make a cheaper ipad pro model with a 9.7 size

or update the one they have now and this put a 10X chip in it and 3 or 4GB of ram
