Hi,

I have here (2) 3GS iPhones. One I was able to jailbreak and unlock quickly with no problems at all.

The 2nd one seemed to be going ok but after jailbreaking it and updating cydia it began rebooting on it's own.

Now I have tried restoring in itunes many times and the problem persists.

The phone turns on but after 10-20 sec. it reboots to the apple logo and so on.

I posted a short video on youtube to show what I mean here:

I'm figuring this phone will need to be returned to Apple for an exchange.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your reply.

Yes it does this after a official restore from both mac and pc.

I tried restoring from both recovery mode and dfu mode multiple times.

I'm thinking this iPhone is truly broken.

Iv'e worked on a lot of iPhones and have never seen anything like this.

I hear you.
If it does it on stock software too and you tried both recovery mode and dfu then there isnt much else you can do.
Probably hardware issue, Apple should take care of it for ya.
