Hey Guys just got a replacement for a macbook pro a week and half ago today i come into work it wont turn on? any ideas? THe battery light underneath show charging and the magsafe on the side is orange? what gives though it wont turn on whatsoever working fine till this morning? any suggestions?

Maybe try taking the battery out and booting just with the AC adapter? If that doesn't work, reset PRAM? If that doesn't work, maybe take out memory one stick at a time...just try to figure out where the problem is coming from...whether it's the power (which I assume it's not since you're getting lights), hard drive, memory, etc.

Also, remove the battery, and try turning the MBP on, making sure -ofcourse- that the Magsafe power adapter is connected.

If it turns on, then it may be a battery issue, if not, then something might be wrong with the machine.

When you say it does not turn on, does that mean completely dead? Or do the fans start, but you are just not able to boot and turns off?

EDIT: Veritas&Equitas beat me to it.
