iPod Brand new nano, loose hold switch?

Hello everyone,

I picked up a new 16gbblack nano yesterday from Radioshack and today i noticed that the hold button is slightly loose. It you shake the nano, you can hear it jiggle. Now I use the hold button alot, so this is a big deal to me.

Should I bring it back to radioshack, or will they just tell me to goto an apple store? If I do go to an apple store, will they try to fix this one or just give me a new one that day? I ask because I really dont want to be without my ipod.

radio shack will probably tell you to go to the apple store unless they gave you another warranty on top of apples. once you get to the apple store they will most likely give you a refurbished ipod on the spot. make sure you call the store first to ask them though, and make a reservation for the apple store online

wait so i return my broken ipod, and they give me a 'refurbished' one, which is really just a used one? Theres no way I can get a brand new ipod? I mean just bought the thing yesterday...

My 4G nano had the entire click wheel loose, bought directly from Apple.

i've gotten several refurbed iPods from apple and they are basically new, but you can always ask if you can get a new one since yours is so new. mine had broke after about 6 months of use so I actually got a better looking iPod than I gave them.
