This week Brave browser keeps on crashing i am on Ventura 13.7 i have a 2017 imac .It is up to date.I tried older versions they to crashed.I don,t use Safari, i don,t like it.I use Firefox. What other browser is equivlent to Brave?. I would like to keepon haveing Brave .

Does it crash when tab is empty or blank?

Other Chromium alternative is Vivaldi but unlike Brave, it’s more packed in features so might be too complex for some.

Other Firefox alternative is Mullvad browser. Very strong privacy protection as a result the window size is fixed.

The thing is i have two other drives with the sam os on. with Brave browser ,and they have not crashedo_OI have tried down loading older versions but they all crash to.o_OA couple of reasons i like Brave is that you don,t get adds on utube, and where you can ask it auything and it goes into detail ,are there any other browsers that do that?I only found that out a short time ago.

Better to uninstall then reinstall.

Brave is very user friendly so I think the next best option for you (if Brave still crashes) is Ghostery browser which has built-in ad blocker as well. Works well with YouTube too. Ghostery search doesn’t have AI but you can bookmark Brave Search and set as homepage.
