Hi!
Im going to a job interview on Mountain View and I would like to buy a 13 inch MBA with 4GB of ram, 128GB SSD.
Ive just found that I cant buy it on us apple store and ship it to my hotel address ( coz my cc billing address is from Brazil).
Is there any way to get a MBA with 4GB of ram in retail stores?

Thanks alot. :D

BTW, do you know stores like best-buy that accept intl orders?

Try using the address of the hotel or a friend that lives nearby.

AFAIK you can order the computer online from Brazil and pay with a Brazilian card but it can't be shipped to Brazil, it would need to be delivered to a US address.

If all else fails then I guess you can ask to have it shipped to the place where you're being interviewed - BUT THAT'S JUST A WILD GUESS IF ALL ELSE FAILS!

As for the 4GB, I'm sure they have those in retail stores and they could be upgrade it for you! Try Amazon for your order, that should go through.

What you might also try is getting a refurbished model off of Apple's site (if you figure out the address thing). I got my MBP refurbished and saved $200, that was in Sept. '09 and there hasn't been a problem since!

Good luck caralho! no offence :)

Yes, there are several retail Apple stores near Mtn View. Try Palo Alto-University Ave, or the Stanford Mall (about 3-5 miles from Mtn View). Last I checked they carry the 13" Ultimate.
