How do I copy the page to make it easier. I tried doing Edit>Copy but can't paste.

If you mean "take a screenshot" by "copy the page" here's what you do:

Open Activity Monitor so you can see what you want to take a screenshot of.

Option 1: Press +Shift+3 to take a full screenshot and save it as a PNG on the Desktop.

Option 2: Press +Shift+4 and the mouse cursor will be a crosshair. Click and drag to make a selection of the screen and save that to the desktop has a PNG.

Option 3: Press +Shift+4 and when you see the crosshair, press spacebar and the cursor will turn into a camera. You can use that to select windows and objects. They will be blueish like when you Exposé the windows and select one. It will save to the desktop as a PNG.
