It is a monstrously huge bag. My MBP 15.4 was swallowed by it. I sent it back as it was too bulky for my tastes. YMMV.

OK. Thanks for the info.

Now I'm trying to decide whether I should get a backpack or a messenger bag. Here's what I need to use the bag for:

Biking/commuting around town
Carrying school books (not a ton, but a couple 500-700 pg. textbooks)
Holding other necessities (iPod, phone, etc.)

Any suggestions?

The fusion is a huge bag. The bag, however, offers amazing protection for your computer. If you need to carry a lot of things with your laptop I would suggest it. Mine holds my MBP-WD Passport HD-Power Adapter-Two School books-iPod-and a bunch of other miscellaneous things like pens/pencils/DVI-adapter etc.

Overall I love the bag, but the laptop compartment is not optimized for a 12" notebook whatsoever.
