Brenthaven Trek Sleeve?

So I just received a Macbook Air, but now I'm having slight difficulties finding a very protective sleeve/case for it. I use a Tumi Bethune Laptop backpack, but I'm really interested in purchasing a North Face Surge backpack or Oakley Flak backpack. However, I would still want a very protective sleeve.

Does anybody know if the Brenthaven Trek Sleeve will fit inside a backpack such as dedicated laptop compartment in the Oakley Flak or Surge by North Face? If not, does anyone have any suggestions for very protective sleeves (hard shell) that will fit in a laptop compartment of a backpack?

I have the new sleeve from Incase (goincase.com) and it works well.

Alot of people have complained about it being very tight, which it is, but it works great.
