Hi

Well i don't know whats going on, but i think my jb pad is bricked.

It ran very low on juice 1% according to the sreen and as i didnt have my charger i plugged it into the computer to charge.

So obviously it stated backing up and syncing away and i went to bed. When i returned it had gone off and now nothing seems to restart it. I've tried the sleep/wake-home holding...screen does nothing. Ive tried plugging it into the mins and doing that.

I just get no response from the device what so ever basically.

So any advice?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

Try DFU mode and then restore

I know my iPhone won't respond if the power is to low.
Try plugging the iPad in to the wall charger for a while. I have noticed mine doesn't always charge when plugged in to the PC.

i don't think its just dead. The ipad is being recognised by itunes, but will not restore. Just getting 21 and 1600 errors.

I've tried all the usual advice, do you think the low charge could be causing a problem though. If its bricked i dont know if it would charge anyway or would it.

It would charge regardless of it being bricked. If DFU doesn't work nor does everything else, just bring it into an Apple store.

Also, try leaving it plugged into the wall for a few hours.
