I was trying to revive my old cMP3,1 and installed old 1900XT.
I managed to put mini-molex to the mb connector the wrong way (locking clip to the other side).
Yes it was a bit dark and the connector is nicely hidden...
Is this an efficient way of bricking the gpu itself?
I get the boot sound with other gpu, but not with this 1900XT.
The red led does show up, if the power cable is disconnected and does not show up, if the cable is connected...
It is not the long version of the card, but I have a memory (might be distorted) that it was flashed to mac efi...
If the card works, should I get the boot sound even with pc bios?
Do the caps dry out even on the shelf also?
