This app is amazing, no setup at all. The only thing that has to be enabled is remote login on your mac. I can see my entire Home folder and pick whatever file I want, upload it to my phone and I can go to any other mac and download it effortlessly

I have tried a ton of the other apps, air sharing, moble finder, as well as a lot of other ones but briefcase is definitely the best out of all of them

No, Im not the dev of this app trying to promote it....I wish I was though because this thing is going to make a ton of money if it catches on

How is it better than Air Sharing? (just curious b/c AS seems perfect)

I honestly never got air sharing to fully work properly...but for one, you do not have to type in a URL to access/upload/download your documents like many of the file sharing apps currently on the app store

I have windows vista and air sharing works for enought to transfer a file or two before locking up my machine and forcing me to reboot. Datacase on the other hand with the ftp transfer works perfectly. However, air sharing is a far more polished app in terms of UI, look and feel. I really wish the air sharing devs would implement ftp transfers like datacase so i wouldn't have to constantly map network drives and stuff on the pc.

I like "Files" the most.

I've never had problems with it, it's easy to transfer files with it, and it has some features that I really like.
