No need to worry. Just use the iPad and enjoy it. If something comes up, take it to an Apple Store and they’ll take care of it.

The 10.2” iPad has the A10 for a reason but they put 3 GB in there instead of 2. It will be fine for pretty much everything.
 
That isn't the flash lighting issue reported on the 10.5 line. Those occur around the touch ID button. What you have there is a poorly made screen.
