I just got off the phone with the Apple Store as I had a question about the brightness of the screen on the new 15" Powerbook.
Here's how Apple touts the specs on their website:
"The 15.2-inch, 1440 x 960 display features 26% more pixels than the previous model."
"The 17-inch, 1680 x 1050 display is 36% more spacious and 46% brighter than before."
I wondered why Apple didn't indicate the brightness of the new 15" model when compared to the prior version. I decided to call them and the person who I spoke to said that she didn't have any specs on the brightness. She then spoke to an engineering department contact and said that that person didn't have any information either.
Has anyone found this confusing? Is there a data point on Apple's site for the 15"
Any information would be appreciated.
