Brightness settings - What gives?!?

When i switch from OSX to WinXP, i find i want to lower the brightness of the screen just a tad, but the jump from WinXP brightest to the next notch down is too much - is there anyone else seeing this? In OSX the 'brightness levels' are consistent, but in Winxp the top one and second-from-top are unevenly spaced, compared to the rest of the notches down...

I think the best you can hope for is that Apple improves the drivers for the next version of Bootcamp. A hardcore Windows/Mac developer might be able to make something (perhaps there already is, but I doubt it).

I feel the same way about the volume levels.

I'm no help here just gotta add I totally noticed the same thing about the brightness in XP. It need another notch or two between full bright and the next notch down.
