Brightness slider in control center is grayed out sometimes

Hi everyone,

I sometimes have the issue that the brightness slider in the control center is grayed out, as you can see in the screenshot. I can still change it using the touch bar but not in the control center, when this is the case. Anyone has an idea what's causing this and how to fix this?

Wow, glad I'm not the only one. I also still have this issue.

I have the same problem on three 2011 27” iMacs with Big Sur and Nvidia K3100m, K4100m and K5100m gpu cards hasn’t happened in awhile seems to have corrected itself! 😊
