Bringing early08 MP in for service @ apple store: what should i know

I made an appointment to have them fix both of my optical drives that refuse to open on command before my apple care runs out in 8 days.


My question to you is: should I do anything to prepare before I bring it in? I made an account for them to log in instead of them using mine. Any other suggestions?

remove all the hdds but the osx make a clone of the osx hdd. make note of the ram and pcie cards. make sure they agree you have
x ram
x pcie cards
1 hdd
2 dvds optical type

make sure they agree you have good apple care
