Looks like a 8800GS is req'd spec (everything else you have meets it). I don't know, I would try it if I were you. I think people give the i5/3000HD combo a bad rap. No, it won't give you high graphic settings but if you can play the game and enjoy it, go for it.

No, you can't.
Intel HD3000 does only support OpenGL3.0, Brink needs OpenGL 3.1 to even start. You better check facts before telling people to spend money on something, the Brink forum have several users reporting that Brink does not even start on systems with HD3000.

The nvidia 8800 series are back from 2006 and supports OpenGL 3.3, but Intel HD3000 is from 2010 and supports OpenGL 3.0
