I'm in the US but prefer the British Siri over the American Siri, to get the British Siri do I have to change my language setting to British English? If so, then will that screw up stuff further down the line? or It wont really make any difference?

I think it thinks you are in England if you do that and none of the map stuff will work (ie find the closest sushi restaurant)

That's annoying because my wife actually is British but can't use the British voice.

Are you sure? I would expect it to simply use the GPS as it normally does. It may just have some trouble finding a dentist. ;)

Hmmm, I'm in the UK and actually prefer the American woman lol. I spent the first few days with my 4S in NJ though so was using it to find stuff there. I haven't tried it back home yet as I only just got in. I don't think the country you choose has any bearing on the voice recognition, as it understands me just fine when set to US.

My dentist costs $110 for a 10 minute appointment so is pretty good thanks, how about yours ;)

Try it. Say find me sushi. Then change it to a non-US voice and say find me sushi and it says the maps only work in america, despite being in america.
