These were taken with 1D Mk II N and 100-400 and were during the practice/qualifying sessions. I didn't manage to take any of actual racing due to being obligated with the Triumph Challenge series (for which I was there to cover). I could have covered Sunday's race, but the weather at the track was the worst I've ever seen.

This was my first time shooting bikes, they're a totally different beast to the cars that I'm used to shooting.

Love the effects you captured of the heat coming out of the tailpipes. Great panning too.

Amazing. At 2.8, that is just amazing to me. I know the 1DII focuses fast ,but still. Very nice.
