As the title implies - I think I may have broken the LCD sensor connector on my new (old) iMac 27 2010. I probably pulled too hard (or in the wrong direction) when disconnecting the display, and the connector feels flimsy now and whichever way I try to put in the cable it doesn't sit snugly. I guess I was too confident and did not take my time, having already done the procedure on two 21.5 iMac. And of course as a result, the iMac fans are fully blazing on full speed.

Is there a way to get around it? SMCfancontrol does not appear to do anything. If not, how do I fix it?

Thanks,
