I bought a Mini about a month ago and decided to switch the HD with my previous SSD. The switch worked, and I managed to put everything back together.
This morning my SSD failed to boot so I had to switch back to the previous HD. While installing the old HD, I must have pulled the fan the wrong way and the connector on the logic board detached. I also think that one of the pins on it broke off, so soldering it back is not an option, unless I get a new part.
So is there any way to get that fan running without reconnecting it to the logic board? Maybe connecting it to a battery?
