Okay I shattered the screen (just the glass and touch sensor/digitizer, not the LCD screen itself-doesnt respond to touch) on my 3G iphone, yeah .. oops.

Parts are on the way, but in the mean time, the phone does boot up and shows up as "steve's iphone" under the DHCP list on my router at 192.168.1.103... I have a vnc server VEENCY installed on my iphone, I'm unsure of what version... I can attempt to connect to my phone, it pops up with the prompt "Accept or Reject ?" but I can't click accept cause the touch screen doesnt work!! :(

Does anybody know if there is a setting of the VNC server app VEENCY from cydia installed so I can MAKE it allow connection automatically?? Maybe IS there an application that has this feature already? I want to take control of my phone and view my messages and shizzz, and at least answer called using my macbook as the remote control for it. Does anyone know where the settings folder/file would be to the VNC server app?.

The phone IS currently running SSH and connectable/browsable of the filesystem and ready for edits and commands.

Thanks for any suggestions !

I've been meaning to try to find a workaround to the manual onscreen accpetance. I contacted the devleoper a month ago and they responded yesterday saying that they thing about implmenting a feature where you wouldnt have to accept

Ahh, ... bummer ... is there any other way or other app to do this?

This would also be cool after I get my phone fixed so that when in my car (that has a custom built media system based on winxp) when I launch my large touch-based vnc controller my phone will automatically accept so I have remote control and large screen control ability to my iphone from my dash of my car.

Well, in the mean time I'm trying to unlock this stupid cheapo SGH-T229 samsung phone that is locked to t-mobile so I can pop my sim card in. I'd go buy a used phone somewhere on the local forums/classifieds but I live in a CDMA(sprint, Alltel, verizon) town...

I apparently have to be a t-mobile customer to get the unlock code...
...

EDIT: got it unlocked... What a downgrade. blah.
