i bought my macbook about 2 weeks ago (the middle white one). i haven't really used it for anything "heavy", basically just photobooth :D photoshop and internet. i tried editing some tunes with garageband last saturday but i had to do something so i left it on for about half an hour. when i got back, of course the display was dark (no screensaver) but it won't turn back on. the temperature wasn't that hot but i tried cooling it down for a few hours and it still won't turn back on.

so i had to take it back to the store and they said the display was broken. they couldn't even explain why. since i don't live in america i had to wait a week until i can have my macbook back.

i just switched to apple and was quite impressed (though there are some things which i thought was better on a pc) overall better than pc. but a broken display only after 2 weeks?!?!?!?!? i'm so diappointed :(

That sucks but hopefully the new one will be blemish-free. It's understandable that there'll be a few teething issues since they've only recently moved to Intel architecture though. :(
