Broken Speaker?

One of my bottom speakers appears to be broken - I'm not getting any sound out of the right side, but the left is loud as hell. Anyone else having this problem?

I really hate to ship it back to Apple and go without a phone for a week to fix this; but at the same time I don't want to shell out $600 for something that doesn't work as expected.

One "vent" is a speaker and one's a mic. So, only one should be making sound.

i thought one slot was for the mic and one for speaker
